ISO 14001 decides which tenders you are allowed to compete for at all.
Data request
Customers and banks ask for sustainability data. VSME is the format the EU recommends for small and medium-sized companies.
Today they are solved separately: one project for the certificate, one for the data, often in separate systems. The same data, paid for twice.
The EU took most companies out of CSRD scope in March 2026, and on 3 July 2026 the Commission adopted VSME as the EU voluntary standard. But:
